Chalabi Unites Iraq

Iraqi voters may not agree on much, but 99.5 percent of them agreed not to vote for Ahmed Chalabi in the country's December 15 election. Once hailed by U.S. neoconservatives as the "George Washington of Iraq," Chalabi's humiliating defeat at the polls makes him something of an embarrasment now. "The election results in Iraq may present Chalabi’s ardent U.S. supporters with a quandary: Chalabi, as well as other losing candidates, is alleging fraud in the election, even though the Bush administration hailed the vote as a historic step for democracy in Iraq," reports Aram Roston.

Um...isn't this guy really bad, as in money laundering and embarassing to the U.S.? How, uh, Why...I don't understand. How is he in charge of Iraq's oil!?! How is this Ok? By the way, loved the press comment by the oil minister on his imposed sebatacle; he thinks the price should have gone up in increments, that the Iraqi people should have been given time to adjust. Sweet economy. Really great infrastructure. Which reminds me-why is it when Bush talks about the infrastructure in Iraq and how good its doing, he fails to mention any people who make up the thing; does he think its a building or something tangible?

Bush speaks that others want to hear, or that that he wants. Also cannot sometimes disguise the speeches under politically correct. And in general as Bush's administration something encourage or on the contrary can? It should seems to me that all affairs in Iraq to be solved inside the country without any BushES. For this reason people of Iraq NEVER will adapt to these severe methods.
