and she thanked you, but you can't leave it at that:

Yes, my dear, it was you. That should also be proof that I hold left leaning positions and thus agree with most of your thoughts by listening to Thom regularly and carefully."

To me that's proof you didn't hear anything but "basically," and you reek of right-wing attitudes, including obnoxious sexism.

The UNIONS are the DICTATORS here! You are forced to belong even if you don't agree with them! They try to bully people into boycotting the businesses of those with opposing views, bullying people into their thinking through name calling and in your face tactics or worse. They have caused more cost to us, the taxpayers (and oh by the way, you union members who pay taxes) with the destruction of OUR Capitol. YES, it is my Capitol too and I didn't want it destroyed. I didn't want to have to pay more taxes for your irresponsible actions, that would normally be a crime (destruction of property) if this weren't such a liberal city. The ironic thing here is, you could have used that money toward paying down the debt. Hello, now you UNION PROTESTORS have cost everyone more money! Also, the money you can save in Union dues could go a long way if you didn't belong, but if you choose to support the Union Bosses life style, that's still your choice even under Governor Walker's plan. (Something you don’t seem to get) Leave the rest of us out of it! The problem is that you Union members don't even understand that you can still choose to belong to this outdated group! Get rid of the dead wood, the mediocre workforce and let’s start rewarding those that excel in the field! It’s time to work again people instead of just going to a job, and being protected by a group that costs too much money to the taxpayer and is producing poor results. Half of your day as a teacher is being used on these Union activities instead of educating children on subjects that they will need to get a job or into college. Stop pushing your Union ideas in the classroom! The results in the classrooms here are nothing to be proud of and I, for one, am willing to see what can happen when we pay for merit instead of seniority and poor teachers who shouldn’t be teachers! The salaries of teachers and their benefit packages are very comparable to other jobs for the time they work! I really hope we come up with some new and innovative ways to educate children, besides the public schools as they exist now and maybe this will action will start it! People, parents, don't be afraid to change the system! This isn't working! Don't let the Unions convince you this is worth saving! I am willing to pay for education when I see a system where children are really achieving and excelling! The only way that is going to happen is with a major change in our system starting with the limitation of Union demands. Get rid of these Democrat Senators who are costing us more money and not doing their job! If anyone of us walked off of our job because we didn’t like what the policy of the majority was, the company would say “don’t let the door hit you on the way out”! It’s time they deal with the reality of Governor Walker’s election and stop being such poor role models for our children! We had to put up, and still do in Madison, with the left wing leaders, for so long. Man up Senators and get back to your jobs! Note: Teachers don’t expect your students to have great behavior in your classrooms and schools, you have no one to blame but yourselves as their role models. They don’t have to come to class or do their homework either! If they bully other students because they feel they are better or deserve more. Don't be surprised! Wouldn't it have been nice, if they would have learned how to think of others before themselves. To learn you are not always right and that even sometimes, it is better to work for the good of everyone, instead of a smaller group and that when a majority has chosen a leader, you respect that even if you don't always agree!

Hey, John D (rockefeller?)— Here's a challenge to you: How do unions, which comprise 7% of workers in the private sector and 14% of workers in the public sector, control the country and its politics as you say? Also, on the idea that the Democrat party is funded by unions, how can that be? Since the majority of labor, 93% private and 86% public, is non-union, where can they get the funds to outspend Goldman Sachs? Note that Dems Andrew Cuomo and Jerry Brown are both union busting as well. The majority of money going to both parties is overwhelmingly corporate. Check it on opensecrets.org. That's why both parties are union busting—they're corporate controlled, not union controlled. Corporations also control media—less than 10 of them—and that's where you got the info for your screed. Go look up the facts of who finances campaigns.
