Hill & Knowlton [2] is hustling for Procter & Gamble [3]'s new - but as yet unapproved - testosterone patch for women with claims that it can boost sexual activity by 74 percent, Ray Moynihan reports in the British Medical Journal. The claims - unsupported by peer reviewed data - are disputed by experts. Procter & Gamble have also requested that the International Society for the Study of Women's Sexual Health - whose annual conference it sponsored - "participate" in a public hearing on the patch to be held next week by the Food and Drug Administration.
