Lobbyists involved in his campaign, according to a report compiled by Public Citizen [4], include former New York Rep. Rick Lazio [5], who ran for the Senate against Hillary Clinton [6] in 2000; Ronald C. Kaufman of Dutko Worldwide [7]; former New Hampshire Attorney General Thomas D. Wrath; former Missouri Senator Jim Talent [8]; Gregory B. Butler Sr., who represents Northeast Utilities; and Jack Gerard of Virginia, who represents the chemical industry.
