Students at Vermont's Middlebury College and the Green House Network [3] have announce a new competition for global warming deniers [4]. The Flat Earth Award recognizes the hard work that goes into discrediting "the strong scientific consensus that the human-induced global warming [5] is real." Finalists for the award include Michael Crichton [6], Rush Limbaugh [7], and S. Fred Singer [8]. The public is invited to help choose the winner [9].
