Dear Mark: The process for appointing Supreme Court justices and their lifetime, king-like, tenure is indeed anti- or counter-democratic. There are increasing calls to remove life tenure from justices, especially after the radical decision by the five guys in the majority in the Citizens United case. Thanks for your comment!
