AFP is one extreme example of the malignancies invading the American body politic. This nation for all its flaws and all its faults, was not designed nor meant to be a reactionary plutocracy. It is a creature of the Enlightenment and it was intended to usher in a new age for humankind. Some progress has been made, but far more needs to be done. In addition, we must be alert to secure the gains we have made. AFP is a force directly contrary to the foundational principles and purposes of our nation.
