While it is true that over 34 states have currently issued calls for an Article V Convention, several of those states have since Withdrawn their calls including my own state of South Carolina which rescinded all its previous calls back in 2004. Convention proponents have produced a chart which indicates that currently there are 31 states with active calls for a convention, including 4 states (NJ, VT, CA, and IL) which were pressured into passing their Con Con calls by George Soros' WOLF PAC over campaign finance reform - NOT THE BALANCED BUDGET AMENDMENT!!! It is correct that it does not matter over which issue a convention call is issued. Once it is verified that 34 states have issued calls then Congress is REQUIRED to call an Article V Convention and the US Constitution WILL BE REWRITTEN !!! If your state is one of those that has issued such a resolution, please urge your state legislature to immediately WITHDRAW their Con Con calls.
