I hope this story was submitted for publication at all media outlets conceivable. Our Newhouse family/Advance Publications newspaper dominates the state and serves as a (poor) source for other news outlets, but occasionally publishes stories it refuses to cover under the heading "op-ed". (This newspaper also uses "op-ed" to publish malarkey which lies farther into rightwing territory than the owners and editors are willing to own-- yet.)
