You yourself would have just "mourned quietly"? Yeah, right. If Zimmerman hadn't been armed he might have thought twice before he went looking for trouble, especially from somebody who looked as menacing as you think Trayvon Martin did; Martin would have just gone home with his snacks, and the whole thing would never have happened. The more guns in circulation, the more violence we'll have. It's that simple.
