Universally, sewage sludge is a valued commodity, anaerobically digested for highly prized methane gas. Oslo, Norway, fuels city buses with humanure this way, imports less of expensive foreign oil this way, helps national economy this way! Remaining sludge is treated further, then used as top-soil building fertilizer for fields. Cattle and pig manure have even higher methane outputs. Methane obtained this way is even used as cooking gas, heating gas, and will so run a car engine. Remember, Humanure, Cattle manure, Pig and Chicken manure, even rotting waste fish parts, some seaweeds, all yield profitable amounts of methane gas, and top-soil building fertilizer. Google Anaerobic digestion and see for yourself! Americans have unclean habits, must be regulated for what they can flush! Europeans seem more diligent environmentalists, Humanure flows are much cleaner! Asians voted to crash American markets this morning. Time for paradigm shift in America!
