Corporations Will Save the World

"Not only is consulting more financially rewarding than working for non-government organizations (NGOs), it is defended as a superior form of activism. ... The often crude corporate efforts of the 1980s and 1990s aimed at defeating activist campaigns are now being superseded by softer strategies of enticing non-government organizations to do less on the streets and more in 'partnerships' in corporate boardrooms designing 'win-win' solutions."
