I once toiled for the man and my experience with him is that he's completely unethical and would do anything for a buck. Crying povery, one time he fired staff a week before Christmas and at the same time donating an expensive ambulance to Israel! Not that he ever gave out a decent Christmas bonus, the cheapskate once gave out cheap pocket calculators for the Xmas bonus. Several broken ones (mine too) were deposited on his desk by disgusted employees. Then comes the case of the theatrical manager that came over to the company when another operation went belly up. Man was promised a job - he was in his late 60s/early 70s at the time. You guessed it, Stan fired him too. The old man was so broken in spirit that he died soon after. Then Zeitlin had the audacity to go to the funeral! If you ever see him again, ask him how he lost the Panasonic account and watch him squirm! I could go on for quite some time enumerating the shitty things he did to his employees, competitors and customers but you get the picture.

Regardless, the amount of over medication in America is still disturbing.

No one has mentioned "moderate fatness" as the issue, they've mentioned obesity though, which is completely different. One is moderate, the other is extreme, very different things. Besides, there is definitely proof out there that being overweight at all is bad for your health. Just look at its effects on blood pressure, joints, the amount of energy a person has, not to mention the psychological effects.

I have a friend who's 21 and has been overweight since he was little. That's overweight, not obese, but overweight. At 21 he has all kinds of health issues including things as serious as heart problems. He could have a heart attack by his 40s simply because he's overweight, not even obese.

I don't think it's the government's place to force people to get into shape and there are certainly other issues out there that need attention but that doesn't mean that our culture doesn't need to change and that this isn't an issue.

Does anyone else think it's completely absurd for Turner to be cooperating so willingly with this circus act? Lite Brites, they were LITE BRITES. Next thing you know Pepsi will be paying cities around the country millions of dollars because an empty soda can left near a train station will cause crippling scares. I don't understand why this has not prompted a very serious debate about whether we've gone too far in our extreme paranoia over terrorism. We aren't stronger and safer now, we're a lot more vulnerable.

If this is going to be a real hearing and not just rhetoric
then they should be there for a couple of damn years.

I would like to find out where the 3.9 TRILLION dollars
missing from the pentagon went and where did the money come
from that the military is handing out to the troops by the
wheel barrel full and filming it to blackmail them into
    staying?

Also why did Halliburton and Black Water receive those no bid
contracts and why is Cheney still getting rich off
Halliburton stock while our troops are dying.

Also I noticed Merck is not on the list when
they should be answering for those horrible vaccines being
forced on young 11 yr old girls in Texas by governor Perry
and other states for cervical cancer at $360 dollars a pop.
They lie when they say that this cancer is one of the more
prevalent when in fact it's near the bottom of the list.
This is a cancer transmittable by sex for women in their
forties and I don't think 11yr old girls are having sex yet.

Those vaccines are poison and contain live cancer viruses
and there many reports of seizures and illness associated
with this poison. I believe Merck is trying to recover their
losses from the Vioxx litigations at the expense of our
    childrens health.

My opinion is they will whitewash this whole thing trying
to make themselves look like they are taking action
for the people there by putting on a good performance for
the media, while the people who should be held accountable
will walk from hiring all those high priced lawyers.

I hope they prove me wrong but logic dictates NO.
